As many of you are aware, the Utah County Recorder’s Office is currently experiencing a significant gap between the date of recording of documents and the indexing of the recordings. The gap in time between the recording and the searchable record is of great concern. Until notified otherwise, a STG Gap Indemnity Agreement from the seller(s) in a sale transaction and from the borrower(s) in a refinance transaction is to be obtained. This bulletin applies to transactions involving Utah County property only.
