It is my pleasure to make the following announcements concerning Stewart Title Insurance Company’s Legal Department. With the pending retirement of Harold Boxer, who has served Stewart and its Agents for 35 years, and our recent change in Agency leadership, I am pleased to announce several promotions:
Richard King: Rich has been promoted to Vice President, Senior Underwriter and New York State Counsel. Richards’s comprehensive knowledge of the laws surrounding title insurance and real estate transactions will enhance Stewart’s underwriting and provide practical solutions to our offices and agents’ underwriting issues. In addition to Rich’s underwriting duties, he will also be directly responsible for all of Stewart’s litigation and regulatory compliance. Rich will be working out of our White Plains, NY offices.
Timothy McLeron: Tim is being promoted to Senior Underwriter. Tim brings 23 years of experience and knowledge to Stewart’s underwriting staff. Tim’s wealth of knowledge includes claims resolution and residential/commercial underwriting in New York State. Tim will be working out of our Clifton Park, NY office.
Keith Madden: Keith is being promoted from Claims Counsel to Underwriting Counsel. Keith brings both private practice and claims experience to the underwriting table. Keith’s practical working knowledge of the law and policy coverages will provide creative solutions for our agents and offices. Keith will be working out of our White Plains office.
