RE:
AMENDED High Liability/ Over Limit Policy Approval Procedures

In light of recent feedback we have added back the New York State specific request form for High Liability/Over Limit Policy Approvals. Both the New York State Specific and National High Liability Approval forms will be available in word format under the Agent Login section of www.stewart.com/new-york. The forms will be listed as follows:

National Overlimits Form 2015: This form is used to cover national transactions and will give you two options, to request approval on transactions outside New York and to request approval on transactions in New York. When submitting please be aware that all New York transactions must be submitted to Stewart Title Insurance Company (HighliPolicy@stewart.com) and any transactions out of New York State must be submitted to Stewart Title Guaranty Company (Policyapprovalrequest@stewart.com).

Policy Approval Form (New York State Only): This form was added back to our website and is specific to New York State transactions ONLY. This form can be completed and sent to HighLiPolicy@stewart.com.

Please note: Both forms will be accepted when submitted to Stewart Title Insurance Company at HighLiPolicy@stewart.com

Stewart Legal Services would like to remind all of our policy issuing offices of it’s hi li approval procedures. I direct your attention to Bulletin 510.  Bulletin 510 and your underwriting agreement will indicate those transactions that you must seek approval to insure.

Please make sure you are directing the New York transactions to Stewart Title Insurance Company.   Please review these procedures and do not hesitate to contact us at 800-433-0014 if you have any questions.
