- GreenPoint Bank - ALTA Policies to be Issued at Closing
This office has been notified that effective immediately, the GreenPoint Bank will require individual ALTA (10-17-92) loan policies for its mortgages, to be issued at the time of closing. This represents a change from the Bank's prior practice of relying on a blanket policy arrangement with various title underwriters.
Please advise your clearance officers, policy typists, closers and any other personnel who need to know of this change.
